Postdoctoral Fellow Center for Quantum Materials Engineering
Bruno Cucco joined the Oden Institute in 2023 as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the group of Professor Feliciano Giustino. He has experience in quantum many-body approaches to model real materials with far-reaching implications for the development of new energy technologies, including solar cells, LEDs, batteries and other devices. Bruno obtained his PhD at the Université de Rennes in France and it focused on the development of new materials beyond conventional lead-halide perovskite for optoelectronic applications. Currently, he is primarily interested in the development of ab initio approaches to investigate electron-phonon coupling in real materials.
During his free time, Bruno enjoys climbing, going to the gym, drawing and cooking.
